FREE CMS Tutoring
Your child has a chance to receive additional learning support through the new CMS Out-of-School Time Tutoring program.
The district will provide tutoring for students right here at Carmel Middle. Tutorial services will be held from October 9, 2023 through May 16, 2024 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM. Services will be provided for Math, ELA and Science. Our own Carmel staff will serve as tutors in all three content areas in a 1:6, teacher to student ratio. Transportation can be provided, if needed, and daily snacks will be given!

- Targeting Goals and Guardrails in Literacy, Math, Science, course tutoring and homework help
- High dosage or high impact tutoring involves highly trained tutors working with sufficient frequency and intensity with individual students (no more than 4 students). The tutors employ the use of diagnostic assessments and prescriptive supports and instruction to address unfinished learning and skill gaps. This type of tutoring requires multiple sessions and commitment to attendance.
